So I am watching the news and there is a story about PETA's new campaign. Something like "Cut School not Animals". That's responsible- you liberal douche bags. Now, I agree we should not be maliciously cruel to animals. I love my dog, in fact if had to choose, I would rather spend time with her than a lot of people I know. (Of course excluding any loyal blog readers) Lets tell kids to cut school, great idea. I took a number of classes at the high school and college levels, and dissected many animals (my favorite was a cat). From what I can remember if you wanted, you did not have to participate in the actual dissection.
On a totally random note I remember when I was a freshman on the water polo team and some of the seniors had dissected cats earlier in the day. They took the cat paw to practice and made the freshmen put it behind their ears like a pencil. I also remember the cat paw being stuck into a teammates speedo. It was on the verge of a sexual assault.
Lastly on the things that pissed me of recently, a Democratic speaker in the house made the following idiotic statement "I call upon all of us to do our jobs for the sake of America, for the sake of those dying people and their families," Florida Rep. Alan Grayson said on the House floor. "I apologize to the dead and their families that we haven't voted sooner to end this holocaust in America." This was of course in reference to the health care debate. Dumb ass. Being that Florida is a bastion for old retired Democratic Jews, this will not help his re-election campaign.
