Not Funny

So, on the way home from the office today decided to stop by Trader Joes. On the way in I saw this..... (note the Hitler upper lip stache)


I have to admit at first I chuckled to myself, I think I thought it was joke or a left over McCain campaign van. Then my serious side took over and I became enraged. I stopped to look at the photo and took this picture. I slowly became even more irritated and appalled. Honestly it takes a lot to offend me and I may be the farthest thing in the world from pc.

Seriously I am not an Obama fan, not the least bit. I have always been a Republican and always will be. I do not think the man is Hitler.

So I am walking past the "booth" where they are handing out their "literature" and the lady ask if she can speak to me. Poor choice lady. I pause, actually calmly and tell the bitch, " I am a Jewish Republican and I find this very offensive". I said that twice. She retorts, "are you a human being? "I almost lost it and told her that she was ignorant and that this was ridiculous. I decided to walk away at that point and she says "remember 1939", apparently a reference to the Nazi Regime. I am half way across the parking lot now yelling "I don't need a history lesson" and "you people are ignorant". Decided it was time to head into Trader Joes before this escalated any further. I was super pissed.

In fact I was so pissed a lady in trader joes comes up to me and says "calm down" . Apparently I put on quite a show. While I am looking over the cheeses, she then tells me she also found it offensive.

Wow....really. Obama is Hitler? That must really offend the skin heads. I am sure Obama will heard up all of the Jews, put us in a train and take us to the "showers" next week. The whole symbolism they are trying to fire up is lame. Yes Hitler was a fascist, Obama may be moving towards socialism, but no matter you political affiliation, we are all Americans. Any American with the education of a third grader should be offended by this kind of crap. Assholes.

Fine.......

So three people still care.

I am to old for bachelor parties. Three days in Cabo, 100 degrees, 28 holes of golf, and a large quantity of adult beverages can really take a toll. It is now Tuesday and I still feel like poop. The good thing is that I really only foresee a few couple more of these things in the future. Don't get me wrong had an amazing time, but it sucked the life out me. But when you are a groomsman and have known the groom (Tyler) since the third grade you need to step it up. That's what men do.

Speaking of what men do...
Anne and I have a another little bundle of joy on the way, sometime around new years. We are very excited. I actually look forward to having a tiny little baby around again, even if they just poop and sleep.

wow that was exhausting..... more posts to come, and Alex pictures. Need to get back to work or take a nap.
